We are so grateful to Giles for helping us in what we feared was a crisis! It was a Saturday morning, and we were trying to drill into a wall to hang something up in our utility room. Unexpectedly, sparks flew! And our boiler immediately shut off.  We did not think we’d be able to get help on a Saturday and feared how big and expensive a job it would be. We’d never contacted Giles before, but he answered the phone on the first attempt and arranged to come have a look …that very day! Within an hour or so, he was at our house, assessed the issue, explained what needed to be done, and then got to work. He was incredibly efficient, considerate, and tidy. We were amazed that he completely resolved everything on the first visit, even patching up the wall and ensuring the boiler and everything affected was back to normal. He also explained how to avoid this type of drilling mishap in the future, without making us feel like idiots. We would have expected a hefty price for this excellent (same-day! Saturday!) service, and we were legitimately shocked by how reasonable the invoice came out to be. In fact, we would have happily paid more. We will recommend Giles without hesitation and will definitely contact him in the future when needed.
